therapy machine for animals/horse/dogs/pet wound healing therapy laser
In general, laser therapy treatment is safe, painless and brief. The laser light is delivered to the affected area through a non-invasive hand piece. The fur does not need to be clipped. Eye protection is worn by the laser operator and anyone near the laser probe. The eyes of the animal are directed away from the treatment area or covered, as the laser could harm the retina of an eye if shined directly into it.
The clinician moves the hand piece steadily over the area of treatment to avoid singeing the fur, particularly on dark-colored coats. During treatment, pets feel a gentle warmth, and many will increasingly relax during — and possibly even seem to enjoy — the procedure.
Each pet is different, and results can vary widely. Owners might see a change in their pets within the first treatment or two. However, for more severe conditions, a series of treatments might be necessary before results become apparent. They can include better mobility for joint conditions, drying and healing of dermatological wounds, quicker healing for wounds and incisions, and greater comfort in a pet.
980nm diode laser use the biological stimulation of light promotes, reduces inflammation and alleviates , is a non-invasive treatment for acute and chronic conditions. It is safe and appropriate for all ages, from the young to the older patient that may suffer from chronic pain.
Recognizing Pain in Animals
It can be difficult to determine if animals are in pain, one of the reasons that laser therapy is underused in this species. The following could be signs that your animals is in pain — arthritic or otherwise:
- Lack of grooming
- Hiding or isolation
- Sleeping a lot or in only one position
- Lack of interest in food and water
- Growling or hissing when touched
- Abnormal body positions
- Change in food preferences, sleeping spots or litter box habits
- General irritability
- Reluctance to jump to favorite spots
- Reduced social interactions with owners or other animals
Possible Conditions Laser Therapy Can Treat
Animals who suffer from any combination of pain, inflammation or slow-healing wounds may benefit from laser therapy. Commonly treated ailments include:
During a Class IV laser treatment, the treatment wand is kept in motion during the continuous wave phase, and is pressed into the tissues for several seconds during laser pulsation.Patients feel a mild warmth and relaxation.Since tissue warming occurs from the outside-in,Class IV therapy lasers are safe to use over metal implants. After treatment,a clear majority of patients feel some change in their condition: be it pain reduction, improved range of motion, or some other benefit.

What is Deep Tissue Therapy Laser Therapy?
Laser Therapy is a non-invasive FDA approved modality that uses light or photon energy in the infrared spectrum to reduce pain and inflammation. It is called “deep tissue” laser therapy because it has the capability of using glass roller applicators that allow us to provide deep massage in combination with the laser thus allowing for deep penetration of the photon energy. The effect of the laser can penetrate 8-13 cm into the deep tissue!
How does Laser Therapy work?
Laser therapy causes chemical reactions at the cellular level. The photon energy accelerates the healing process, increases metabolism and improves circulation at the site of injury. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of acute pain and injury, inflammation, chronic pain and post-operative conditions. It has been shown to accelerate the healing of damaged nerves, tendons and muscle tissue.
Is Deep Tissue Laser Therapy right for you?
Deep Tissue Laser Therapy has become preferred by patients who have not responded to other interventions. Its ability to impact pain on a cellular level provides pain relief for not only only simple conditions but chronic and complex conditions as well.
What the difference between Class IV and LLLT,LED Therapy teratment?
Compared with other LLLT laser and LED therapy machines(maybe only 5-500mw),Class IV lasers can give 10 - 1000 times the energy per minute that a LLLT or LED can. This equates into shorter treatment times and faster healing and tissue regeneration for the patient. As an example, treatment times are determined by joules of energy into the area being treated. An area you want to treat needs 3000 joules of energy to be therapeutic. A LLLT laser of 500mW would take 100 minutes of treatment time to give the necessary treatment energy into the tissue to be therapeutic. A 60 watt Class IV laser only needs 0.7 minutes to deliver the 3000 joules of energy.
